Arriving in Maldives

After a 5,5 hour flight to Doha,  a 10 hour layover in Doha, and another 4,5 hour flight to Male we have finally arrived! The boys were great on both flights. Thankfully they had a few interesting play areas that kept the boys busy at the Doha airport.

Here are a few pictures from the morning we arrived. We are staying in Hulhumale island. We briefly visited the beach and the boys were so excited. 

We  reunited with some great friends who own a local coffee shop on the island. Their daughter and my eldest son were immediately friends although they have never met before!

There is a lot of construction all around the island and cats roam on some streets freely. 

I will post more pics soon! The rest of the day went napping and recovering from the long journey!
