5 year anniversary!

Time flies. 4.1.2018 marked five years from the day we made our wedding vows near Lake Victoria. Who would've thought we would be celebrating on the same beach where we awkwardly first shook hands? So much has happened in that five years. What a joy to be with our little boys; walking on the same sand, hearing the same waves, gazing at the same stars, and never ceasing to be amused by the hermit crabs that trail their sneaky paths.

We had a wonderful breakfast by the beach as a family. Reese made it all!

After breakfast we went to try some paddle boarding while the boys went to see some friends.

It was a lot more challenging than I thought it would be because it was really windy and the tide was coming in. Also it was pretty shallow with coral to land on so I was scared to fall in the water. After one wipeout and a scrapeout on my knee I opted for sitting on the board ;)
